About

Richland Stewardship Project supports and promotes citizen awareness and input in the process of determining what direction our county takes with regard to our environment and natural resources

Our Goals

Community education and empowerment
Protecting local control
Protecting and improving our ecosystems and natural resources

Our History

Richland Stewardship Project formed in the spring of 2013 in response to the reality of future industrial frac sand mining in our area. Working with Richland County and our community we were able to update a mining ordinance to reflect the realities of frac sand mining.

Presented by the Richland Stewardship Project, a project of Crawford Stewardship project, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
