Town of Bloom Adopts Moratorium on Silica Mining Operations

On April 14, 2015, the Town of Bloom in Richland County, Wisconsin, passed an ordinance to impose a moratorium on the creation of silica mining operations in the township, pending creation of a regulation ordinance. The moratorium is in effect until June 2016.
